Delete your TurfScore account
TurfScore, by Arulmurugan Prakasam · Last updated 6 August 2026
This page explains how to have your TurfScore account and the data attached to it deleted, what is removed, what is kept, and how long it takes.
How to request deletion
- Email [email protected] from the email address you signed up with. Sending it from that address is what confirms the account is yours.
- Put Delete my TurfScore account in the subject line.
- In the message, say whether you want the whole account deleted, or only particular matches removed. If you want specific matches gone, name the teams and the date.
What is deleted
| Data | What happens |
|---|---|
| Your account — email address, display name, hashed password | Deleted. The sign-in record is removed entirely. |
| Matches you created, and the ball-by-ball record in them | Deleted if you ask for the whole account to go. |
| The random device identifier stored on your phone | Deleted when you uninstall the app or clear its data. It never leaves your device except as part of a match record. |
What may be kept, and for how long
- Matches other people scored that you appear in. A scorecard belongs to the game, not to one player, so deleting your account does not erase you from a match somebody else recorded. Ask and your name will be removed from those scorecards instead.
- Nothing else is retained. There are no backups kept beyond the hosting provider's own routine database backups, which roll off within 30 days. After that no copy remains.
How long it takes
Deletion is carried out within 30 days of the request, and usually within a few days. You will get a reply confirming when it is done.
If you cannot sign in
The app does not have a password reset yet. If you have forgotten your password and cannot email from the account address, write to the address above from any address and say which account you mean — it will be sorted out.
